Mbong Amata robbed of AMAA nomination.

It is so disheartening how nominations are made in our own Academy Award for Christ sake, let alone winning. I was going through the nomination list of AMAA and discovered Clarion Chukwura was nominated as the best actress in Apaye as against Mbong Amata and I ask my self why? Why her? I ask my self, what condition and criteria is she been nominated as the best actress. Going by the film, she had less challenging role than the younger Apaye played by Mbong Amata. Clarion was basically a narrator in the film. Yes she handled the role just like a professional that she is and nothing more. No specialty attached to her role. I was quite disappointed not because Clarion wasn’t good with her role but I also think Mbong Amata was supposed to be on the list of nominees. I think both Clarion and Mbong where both exceptional in that role but to me, Mbong had more challenging situations than that of Clarion. So AMMA should always make us know the criterion in which these nominations are made. We sure need an explanation.
